Proudly Presents the 2011 Summer Camp Experience
An introduction to all aspects of the performing arts in a real off-Broadway style theater.
Few camps provide young performers with such a variety of workshops in a real theater setting.
In addition to our group workshops, our campers may choose one of the following for their intense workshop, including:
Method Acting: Including character development, scene analysis, vocal performance, stage movement, and more.
Sing and Record your own song: Write, Produce, and Record your own original music composition in the theater's recording studio.
Perform in the Salute to Americn Idol and The Voice: Perform in the salute to American Idol and The Voice, live shows.
Intense workshops in Voice: including: pitch, tone, range, breath support, warm-ups, presentation, and the art of listening... .
Instrument Instruction: including: piano, guitar, and drums.
Professional Stage Makeup: including: research, application, and the critical component; eye and skin safety.
On Camera: Students write, produce, and create an original video short documentary.
Portfolios: Professional presentation of black and white 'slicks', bios, and background, for future interviews and auditions.
Stagecraft: Utilizing the theaters facility, education in: lighting, sound, stage management, and set design and construction.
General Information: Camp is held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Ages: 6 and up Program developed for both the novice or the seasoned performer
Breakfast and Lunch programs available
4 separate weeks offered. Week of: June 20th, July 4th, July 18th, Aug. 1st.
(Campers may choose one or more weeks to attend)
Adult staff with State of Florida Teacher Certifications.
Cost: $150. per week. Cash or checks only. No debit or credit cards accepted.
