Curtain Call Theater is a school of the performing arts. Students range in age from 6 to adult, from the novice to the seasoned performer. While the major focus of instruction addresses acting and voice, instruction in dance, music, and all other aspects of the performing arts are included. This off-Broadway style theater also provides an excellent opportunity to participate in the technical side of the theater including lighting, sound, and stage craft. The in-house recording studio enables students to advance their vocal instructions as well as allows the theater to score their own original productions. It is our belief that there is no greater experience than that involving the American Stage. It crosses historical, social, cultural, and economic boundaries. The opportunities offered at Curtain Call bestow upon the student, skills not only important within the theater setting, but in every aspect of life. Confidence, social skills, and the ability to communicate effectively are just a few. Individuals who experience difficulty expressing their ideas with confidence, soon develop a more positive self image. Curtain Call Theater is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence with a developmental curriculum that meets the needs of each student as an individual. The director is a State certified and licensed teacher with over thirty-five years as a director and fifty years of experience as a performer. The facility, one of the finest Off-Broadway style theaters in the Tampa Bay area, also brings an additional strength to this program, as both public venue and 'hands-on' scool of instruction.

Students of Curtain Call, not only attend classes covering every aspect of the theater, but perform in a full season of shows. From January to May, students take on the role of full time cast member in one of our major productions. Each performer participates in every aspect of the production. From script development, to set design, makeup, and costumes, the Curtain Call actor is fully involved. Parents, friends, and the public, have the opportunity to attend this series of performances. Each show is a professional production for both the actor and the patron. From such favorites as 'Annie', 'Genie and the Lamp', 'They Call it Rock n' Roll', 'Brighton Beach Memoirs', 'The Inner Me', 'Hook', 'Beyond the Orphanage', 'Haunting' 'Apartment', 'Wizards', and the Theater's signature show, 'Salute to Broadway', the experience is complete.

Those of us who have a love for the American Stage extend an open invitation to anyone who may wish to share in our passion.
